Isaiah 43:18-19

β€œForget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

Rivers in a desert seem like an impossibility. I often see things in my life as impossible. Do you ever find yourself feeling like you're in the wilderness, your life is dry and in need of a new life? This verse is a promise we can hold on to. God makes a way when there is no way. Just like He did with the Red Sea. God’s timing is perfect so however long He has you in a desert, in a trial, you can be sure He will meet you in it! In ministry, we have great times, but we have challenging times too! God will guide you, sustain you every step of the way. Our almighty God will do the impossible with abundance. He gives us strength.

Prayer
Father, In our desert seasons may we lean on our only hope...you! Help us to trust we are your children and you will guide and sustain us. Thank you for that promise and the care you have for us. We love you and praise you. In Jesus name Amen.
