EventS Manager
Full-Time | The Naz Church
The Naz Church is seeking a highly organized, relational, and proactive Event Manager to help create welcoming, Christ-centered experiences across our campus. This position serves as the primary point of contact for church events, conferences, rentals, weddings, funerals, PlayPlace parties, and community gatherings, ensuring every event reflects the warmth, excellence, and mission of The Naz.
The Event Manager will oversee event scheduling, logistics, communication, volunteer coordination, and on-site execution while partnering closely with ministry leaders, vendors, and guests. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, communicates effectively, and remains calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
Manage event requests and scheduling through Planning Center Calendar.
Coordinate event logistics, room setups, and campus resources.
Serve as the primary contact for internal ministries and external event clients.
Communicate with vendors, volunteers, and event hosts to ensure successful execution.
Provide on-site support for events as needed.
Maintain event systems, procedures, and resources.
Assist in creating welcoming and excellent guest experiences across all events.
Support ministry leaders in planning and executing church-wide initiatives and special events.
Qualifications
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience in event coordination, hospitality, administrative support, or volunteer leadership preferred.
Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required by ministry events.
Proficient with technology and willing to learn Planning Center systems.
Spiritual Requirements
Because of the ministry nature of this role, applicants should be regular attenders of The Naz Church and fully supportive of the vision, mission, and values of The Naz Church. Candidates who are not currently owners (members) should be willing to pursue ownership upon hire.
